Webster County Brick Ranch Custom Home
This is a 1642 square foot ranch home in rural Webster county that we built in 2014. It features an all brick exterior, covered patio, Andersen 400 series windows, and a fully finished basement with bar. The interior has an open floor plan and a kitchen with hickory cabinets and granite countertops. These homeowners put a high priority on energy efficiency, opting for R-24 blow-in wall insulation and R-49 in the ceiling. Hastings Remodel
For this part of the project, we removed a wall and relocated the plumbing to expand the laundry room square footage. In doing so, we made room for a custom built bench, storage lockers and cabinets, and a laundry chute. The new laundry room is the perfect storage solution for this busy family of five. We gutted the kitchen and living room areas, resized window openings, replaced the sliding door with windows, and added a patio door off the kitchen. A new gas fireplace becomes the focal point in the living room, accented with custom built Douglas Fir floating shelves and mantel.
